Outlook 2000 & Outlook Express

In the following tutorial, we will reference yourdomain.com.  Please remember that whenever we say yourdomain.com, you will simply need to replace that with your domain name.  For example, if your domain were www.microsoft.net, then yourdomain.com would be microsoft.net

1.  Open your Outlook program

2.  Select Tools > Accounts

3.  Select Mail > Add > Mail...

4.  For "Display Name", enter in what you want your recipients to see the email as displayed from.  Typically it is set as your actual name.

5.   Enter in the email address that you wish to send with.  Remember, this will have to be a valid email address that you have created on our mail server.

6.  Your incoming and outgoing mail server will be mail.yourdomain.com

7.  Your "Account name" is the email address you are using to send with

8.  Click Finish, but you're not done just yet!

9.  Now, select your new Mail account and choose Properties

10.  Choose the Server tab

11.  Click the Box next to "My Server Requires Authentication"  Then OK.

12.  Your Outlook program is now set to send and receive email!
